What do hair dye numbers mean?

Most generally, hair dye numbers indicate the color of the hair dye. Normally such a number consists of 3 digits xyz The first digit determines the color from 1 - black to 10 1/2 - very light blonde.

The second digit determines the glow:0 - deepening or lowering the reflex, 1 - ashy, 2- iridescent, 3- golden, 4- copper, 5- mahogany, 6- red, 7- metallic, 8- mocha.

The third number is an additional, smaller reflection

Does the paint have an expiration date?

Yes, they are 3 years from the date of manufacture. You won't find the expiration date itself on the package, but when you find the expiration date add these 3 years.

Does the hair dye wash off?

Yes, both permanent and semi-permanent hair dye will wash off at some point. How many washes the dye will last depends on your hair, its care and the dye itself. Avoid hot water, blow dryers or curling irons to make the color last longer.

Semi-permanent dyes last about 28 washes. With permanent dyes, washing out is more likely to reduce the intensity of the color.

Is it possible to dye eyebrows with hair dye?

Absolutely not! The skin of the Face and especially around the eyes is very delicate using hair dye can cause severe irritation, loss, eyebrows, swelling. We do not recommend it!

Why does hair dye burn?
